A quick breakfast before work

If you have 15 minutes, these are the pairings people order most in the morning (prices in Colombian pesos):

Three-cheese croissant at Café Namazzi
  • Cappuccino and a cheese stick $18,500. The pairing we see most on our tables.
  • Americano and almojábana cake $18,900. Almojábana is a Colombian cheese bread; ours comes as a soft, chewy cake.
  • Latte and three-cheese croissant: the croissant is $10,000 and the latte $9,000.

The bakery case also has almond, pistachio, blueberry, spinach and cheese, and ham and cheese croissants, plus a four-cheese pastry.

A full breakfast, at your own pace

If the plan is to sit down, these are the morning dishes:

  • Arepa with eggs $21,000, new on the menu: eggs ranchero style or with aliños (seasoned), your way, and you pick the arepa: sweet corn (choclo), white or mote. The breakfast of Medellín, the Namazzi way.
  • Omelette $22,000: soft and fluffy, with cherry tomatoes, oregano and sourdough.
  • Avocado toast $25,000: sourdough, avocado, cherry tomatoes, queso costeño, honey and egg.
  • Brunch sandwich $24,500: egg, ham, cheese, tomato, onion, lettuce and aioli on sourdough.
  • Berry parfait $24,900: Greek yogurt, granola, honey and berries.

Breakfast and brunch are served until 3:30 p.m., so it works for a late breakfast too.

What to drink

Besides milk-based coffees, every season we have a single-origin coffee for filter brewing. If you have never tried a V60, the morning is the best time: it is a clean, light and aromatic cup. A cup is $9,500.

If you would rather skip coffee: herbal infusions, chai, matcha, 100% cacao hot chocolate and fresh juices.
